Work at the heart of change

At Accenture, we harness the power of change to create value for businesses and our communities. We are united by one purpose: To deliver on the promise of technology and human ingenuity.

We’re a global professional services company with leading solutions in cloud, digital, and security. Every day, our team of 743k+ people innovate with clients in more than 120 countries. In Australia, we have been helping iconic brands embrace change and elevate their organisations for more than 30 years. Some of these companies include:

  • Lion
What does it take to become the first large-scale, carbon-neutral brewer in Australia? It takes courage to embrace change. Accenture helped Lion implement SAP S/4HANA and migrate to AWS. With these changes, the company was able to increase agility, streamline processes and reduce carbon emissions to achieve sustainable growth and industry leadership.

  • Australian Institute of Marine Science
How can AI protect coral reefs? Working with the Australian Institute of Marine Science, we’ve developed live monitoring of reefs to improve conservation efforts.

  • Tuvalu
How can a country thrive despite being on the frontlines of climate change? See how we’re helping Tuvalu harness technology to preserve itself.

Continuous learning fuels innovation at Accenture. With us, you’ll learn something new every day, and no day will be like another. Online and on-the-job training, certifications and mentoring, and leadership programs will unleash your exceptional potential. You’ll also have a career counsellor who’ll help you drive your career in the direction that you want.

Being great at work does not mean going beyond your work hours. We want you to live your best life, at and outside Accenture. That’s why we offer flexible work hours, part-time work, parental leave, and a whole lot of work options to help you become the master of your own career.

We believe that a purposeful career is built on work that improves lives. As you make an impact on Australian businesses and government organisations, you’ll also have opportunities to make a difference in our communities. Through our Corporate Citizenship activities, you can volunteer your time and talent for worthy causes such as teaching students digital skills, developing apps for not-for-profits, raising environmental awareness, and more.

Recruitment Process

Application process

Applications for our graduate program are open at different times of the year, and the process varies depending on the role. We get it—waiting for an interview invite can be frustrating. You’ll hear from us at the earliest. In the meantime, here’s a glimpse of the process:

1. Application
We look at your academic and leadership achievements, and teamwork skills. We also want to know why you want to join us and what you like to do. We’ll ask you to share your CV.

  • Use PDF, preferably.
  • Save your CV as “Name_CV.”
  • Upload your cover letter as a separate PDF document titled "Name_Cover Letter."
  • Do not upload any other documents.

2. Application review and HR touchpoint
Once we receive your application, we’ll review it for eligibility for our graduate roles. If we want to know more about you, our Early Careers team will reach out to you for a chat and let you know the next steps.

3. Assessment
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interactive virtual assessment, which will include a team activity and case study. This step is applicable for tech roles only. Get ready to flex your technical skills.

4. Final virtual interview
Next up, you'll have a chat with one of our Accenture leaders. This round will be about making sure we're a great match for each other.

5. Get an offer
If all goes well, we will make you an offer and agree on a date of joining.

What Graduates Say About Them
  • The culture and people are great to be around. There is a sense that they care about graduate development and growth.
  • Lots of different opportunities. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do once I finished University, this job has enabled me to try different things and work in vastly different areas. Great so that I can figure out what I want/like to do whilst gaining experience and skills across industries.
  • Incredibly supportive team. Lots of variety in work. Flexibility to work from home. Vast amounts of resources and access to training. Good social and community engagement.
  • The culture and the impact that the company can bring to the wider community.
  • Flexible work conditions, nice people/seniors, training programs and certifications and social events
  • Self-driven development can be hard but is rewarding if you have drive.
  • Can be difficult to get into the exact area you want
  • As the teams are spread across Australia it can be hard to connect on a personal level with your teammates and colleagues.
  • It took a while to get project work.
  • The biggest challenge is understanding where I will have the most impact and making my way to that point
