At AMP, our purpose of helping people create their tomorrow guides our actions and decision-making across AMP.

Your Graduate Journey

As a graduate at AMP, you will complete a two-year rotational program, tailored to your individual aspirations. AMP empowers you to chart your own course towards success.

Rotations opportunities are aligned to the business strategy and priorities offering you meaningful work and the chance to make a real impact.

Professional Development

A tailored program overlays your rotations and includes a series of formal workshops, technical skills training, customer immersion activities, and networking opportunities with senior executives and mentors.

In your second year, you’ll work on a Business Improvement Project (BIP) with other members of your cohort the chance to win implementation go-ahead towards piloting your idea after presenting your findings to a panel of senior leaders.

Support Network

Sharing your experiences with your cohort, you’ll start building a network of people who understand your value and are committed to your development and success from the day of your offer.

The Graduate Program Talent Manager oversees the program from end to end and your Graduate Champion will act as a mentor through your journey.  Your Buddy from a previous cohort will share their lived experiences with you.

Graduates are seen as a great asset to AMP, and you will have the wider Graduate Alumni Community to lean on as well as access to senior leaders in the business.

Recruitment Process

The AMP graduate recruitment process is based on more than just your academic degree and results and is made up off these steps:

  1. Simple online application form and chance to upload your CV, academic transcript and supporting documentation.
  2. Online game-based assessment and video interview so you can let us know a bit more about you, your experience and your goals.

What Graduates Say About Them
  • Diverse range of teams all operating in house. Lots of opportunities to collaborate and network even just internally. See everything happening on the same floor.
  • Flexibility; exposure to senior leaders across the organisation; interesting and complex work tasks; supportive managers and team.
  • The number of interesting rotations is a plus. There is a very strong support system in place for the graduates. You are always encouraged to try different things. There is always someone available to ask questions or to get help from.
  • There is a great culture and flexible working arrangements. The company cares about your wellbeing and the grad program, in particular, provides lots of support to help you succeed.
  • Extremely flexible working from home arrangements. There is also an enormous focus on personal/professional development.
  • A very supportive team and leader, friendly coworkers, flexible working arrangements.
  • Poor media attention.
  • There are constant changes and uncertainty.
  • Lots of upper management changes and organisational restructure which sometimes makes it difficult to focus on everyday responsibilities and tasks.
  • Performance and negative press coverage - tends to overshadow a lot of the good stuff we are actually doing.
  • Current cultural and management issues, including media relationship and depiction.
  • A lot of leadership change at the moment A lot of cost-cutting which puts pressure on employees although this is not felt by the graduates.
