We provide multi-disciplinary specialisations in the buildings team encompassing an array of Engineers including Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Hydraulic, Sustainability, Facades and Fire Protection Engineers.

We are proud that our mahi directly contributes to Aotearoa New Zealand’s Built Environment.

What is Electrical Engineering?

Electrical Engineering is what brings buildings to life. From designing power distributions systems to keep patients safe in hospitals to highly resilient standby power systems that keep everyone’s data secure.

At Aurecon, the Electrical Engineers in our Building Services team work closely with Clients, Architects and other Engineering disciplines to create the buildings of the future.

The O Mahurangi (Penlink), two-lane road for walking and cycling provide better, safer, more reliable transport options in Northern Auckland. That was us.

Murdoch University’s Boola Katitjin, which is the first mass-engineered-timber (MET) building in Western Australia? Yes, that was us too.

And the Tseung Kwan O Interchange in Hong Kong that improved the district’s accessibility amid increasing transport demand? You guessed it, us.
