The organisation provides streams, and each stream has action plans during the year to achieve certain outcomes. Disability streams, gender stream, LGBTIQA+ stream and some others. They provide for people to come together and share opinions on how to improve the community. Being a woman in a mainly predominant man environment, I never felt disrespected, left out or with lack of opportunities.

We have a few diversity streams. Gender Equality, LGBT, Disability, Reconciliation (Indigenous Australians) and Culture. They seem to actually care and work on creating policies in each of these streams to help and celebrate these groups. It doesn't feel like they're just putting on a performance for the sake of it.

We have a great D&I program which has Disability, LGBTIQA+, Aboriginal, Gender Equality and Cultural streams. The effort put into making these especially in the form of recruitment, they are recently also taking specific action to get early career employees and part time employees in.

Cenitex has a Diversity and Inclusion team that often runs events to help promote those qualities within the company. The OSS team, I am on grad rotation with, currently have a position open specifically looking for a female candidate to help gender diversity within the team as it is male dominated. The team also have a female grad starting with them next year as well.

Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Space in Cenitex makes sure everyone is welcomed and are comfortable working and enjoying their time in Cenitex and make the environment as fun as possible. We also have teams doing and promoting Working women and respecting mother at work as well and LGBTQIA+ group in Cenitex as well as a separate space for all types of Diversity. With all the options available as we can think of retention, promotion, child care, maternity leave, etc and no problems accessing all these.

It is only now coming to attention so it will take another 2 years for it come into action. Great policies for mat/pat leave. But otherwise is a very male dominated space and leadership tends to skew to non-minorities.
