FG Advisory Graduate Development Program

While our team is small, we operate with the heart and mind of a large organisation and when we bring young talent into our organisation, their ideas and energy play a pivotal role in shaping our work and our future. Working closely with our Senior Engineers and Management team on a variety of projects and through both informal and formal mentoring programs, our young talent has the opportunity to accept a greater level of responsibility and learn their technical skills from some of the most talented engineers in the Building Services industry. Our Senior Engineers empower and challenge our young Engineers to step outside their comfort zone and take on important and industry leading projects, an opportunity to learn by doing, but with hands-on support of Senior Engineers along the way to fast-track their development and careers.

All Graduates will have the opportunity to complete three rotations across each of our Energy Advisory, Engineering Design and Project Management Divisions. The personal and professional growth of our Graduates through these rotations is supported by:

• Graduates set and achieve development goals through each Divisions ‘Skills Passport’ and the FG Advisory Capability Framework, targeting core capabilities across Commercial, Professional and Operational Contexts.
• Graduates receive opportunities for Professional and Personal growth and development via completion of a series of personality and leadership-based assessments and coaching sessions, facilitated by FG Advisory’s in-house Organisational Psychologist.
• In addition to annual education allowances, FG Advisory provides for one fully funded international learning experience per graduate, designed to expand our graduate’s mindsets, and build industry knowledge and connections.
• Graduates participate in FG Advisory’s ‘Innovation Committee’ which builds research and business case skills through the prototyping and development of operational innovations, that culminate in a pitch to the FG Advisory Board of Directors.
• Graduates are supported by a formal mentoring program with FG Advisory and Industry leaders.
