The program runs for a 12-month period, 3 days per week from mid-January 2021 to December 2021. Working days can be flexible to accommodate your study requirements. The opportunity is available to 6 students per year.
Mentoring and supervision is provided as well as feedback opportunities.
These positions are based in our North Melbourne, Keilor Park, Scoresby offices and various site locations around Melbourne. There is plenty of opportunity to get our of the office and meet people and work onsite.
What can you expect from the program?
Students rotate through four divisions of the business;
5.5 months with the Construction Division (Estimating, Project Coordinating alongside a PM/CA and on site with a Site Manager)
5.5 months with the Interiors Division (Estimating, project Coordinating alongside a PM/CA and on site with the Site Manager)
1 month with the Maintenance and Electrics Divisions
1 week with the HSEQ Team
On a day-to-day basis, you may be involved in project estimating, looking at architectural/structural drawings, analysing trade pro ices and quotes, project coordinating, site visits, reviewing project programs and labour planning, client meetings, learning about demarcation and scoping, assessing project risks, talking with subcontractors, maintenance and electrical building services and learning about site health and safety.
