There is diversity across the firm. I understand maternity leave is encouraged.

I think there isn't a huge marketing commitment surrounding diversity but it is definitely practiced within the firm which I appreciate.

Diverse. Many woman including at senior levels. LGBT safe.

- The firm does not do well on promoting women to partnership. It is my understanding the firm's partnership is only about 1 in 6/16% female, as opposed to more balanced gender splits at lower levels. This indicates potential structural barriers/lack of support to women looking to rise internally at the firm. - To my knowledge, the firm does not engage in any particular initiatives to boost representation of women, ethnic minorities or LGBTI persons, but has in place the idea that all people should be treated equally. There is a great culture of respect at the firm, but there are not (to my knowledge) any affirmative action-type policies in place.

We have no female partners in the Adelaide office, which is a shame. But the most recent female partners left the firm to pursue very cool opportunities (e.g. becoming a magistrate). Otherwise, everyone seems to be very respectful of diversity.

Seems to be very fair maternity leave

When I clerked there were only girls at that time. There is only 1 female partner in the Perth office so more inclusivity there would be great to see. The firm seems good with dealing with families and childcare emergencies. Unsure about maternity leave.
