About the position
Broadly, the key responsibilities are:
- Audit service delivery – Be a part of the team that is responsible for audit service delivery and ensure timely and quality audit deliverables on the work done by self.
- Content & industry focus – Build strong domain expertise (accounting & auditing) and industry knowledge to enable better engagement with US ET and improve quality of work performed from GDC
- Demonstrate basic accounting and auditing knowledge
- Understand audit procedures performed by GDC
- Familiarize with audit documentation tool –eAudIT
- Familiarize with audit tools/applications used (IDEA, WISDOM,CASEWARE, MS Office)
- Efficient and effective performance of audit procedures within the time provided with Quality
- Nominate in self-development activities in technical and project management areas
- Demonstrate strong inter-personal skills
- Participate in / lead team and group activities
Education and Experience Requirements
- MBA / Masters’ degree / Post Graduate degree in Finance & Accounting with first division (60%)
- 0 – 1 year of full time experience with a reputed company / firm
Technical Skills
- Audit and accounting knowledge
- Good knowledge of MS Office (with an emphasis on MS Excel skills)
- Strong English communication skills (Oral & Written)
Enabling Skills
- Attention to detail and quality consciousness
- Be a quick learner and demonstrate adaptability to change
- Should be willing to and capable of delivering under tight timelines, basis the business needs including working on weekends
- Should be open to travel to US on short and long term assignment
