Our Innovation & Growth Advisory team supports businesses across the spectrum of sizes - from large publicly listed companies to small startup companies - in navigating the complex and ever changing field of government funding. Currently, the government is overhauling the whole innovation funding ecosystem, resulting in a rapidly evolving field which brings with it many challenges and opportunities. This team operates in the fast moving space of businesses conducting research and development activities to create a growing and vibrant technological sector in New Zealand. 

Your Day-to-Day | Ngā mahi o ia rā:

  • Apply an understanding of legislation and case law governing relevant funding regimes.
  • Discuss and explain the rules and eligibility criteria of the funding regime to organisations.
  • Assess and determine eligibility of activities being undertaken by clients seeking funding.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with administrative processes for claiming funding.
  • Utilize knowledge of financial statements to support funding applications.
  • Provide client management support, including responding to queries and identifying value-added opportunities.
