Our Program
Our 12-week Summer Internship provides students with learning opportunities that are unique to Powerlink and the high voltage electricity industry. This is an exciting time to be joining us, as we experience exponential growth, lead energy transformation and focus on delivering renewable energy into the grid across Queensland!
We are dedicated to providing students with an ideal platform to jump-start their careers by offering 'real life' work experience across a range of specialist disciplines. Students will be involved in interesting and varied projects and will work with, and learn from, talented and supportive engineering and development professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity for talented undergraduate students who are seeking challenging and rewarding vacation employment.
Who are we looking for?
Our Summer Internships are open to driven undergraduate students who will be continuing and maybe even completing their studies in 2025. Employment in the program is due to commence on November 2024 and where you will work 9 days per fortnight.
Students will be completing an undergraduate degree(s) in one of the following disciplines with an expected graduation in 2025 or beyond.
