TOGA Development & Construction Graduate Programs & Internships

  • Engineering Consulting

With almost 60 years in the industry and a highly skilled and specialised property team, we have established ourselves as one of the most experienced, Australian-owned, fully integrated property developers.

A family-run, private business, when you join TOGA, you join the family. We invest in our culture, we celebrate our differences and encourage wellness, flexibility and growth.

We are a nimble, relationship-driven business that provides breadth to people's experiences and development. When you join TOGA, you roll up your sleeves and you muck in. You aren't pigeon-holed and for that, you thrive - through opportunity and exposure. There is no such thing as a hierarchy, at TOGA you sit at the table with the most experienced people in the business, and your opinion matters.

Our strong sense of community drives our commitment to social responsibility. TOGA has been a trailblazer in the meanwhile use development space, providing access to our empty developments to pop up social enterprises to use the space for good. The Addison Project, an example of collaboration between My Youth Housing Foundation, OzHarvest, Thread Together and Orange Sky was a four-year endeavour that saw thousands of people at risk seek crisis accommodation, source food and clothing and utilise shower and laundry facilities all on one site. Our collective belief is that everyone deserves a home. With access to paid volunteer days, our TOGA team members are encouraged to come together to give back. Our communities are at the heart of everything we do.

Recruitment Process

In order to join our family, we need to get to know you and you know us. This is paramount.

We expect all candidates to provide a copy of their resume and academic transcript. You will have an initial 15-20 minute telephone conversation with our friendly Talent & Culture team, who will invite you to interview should you sound like you fit the bill. For us, team fit is super important.

We would have a two-round interview process as we feel the more people that you meet, the more comfortable you would be in accepting a role with us and vice versa. Initially, you would meet Talent & Culture (again!) and the Project Manager. Should you be successful in that round, we would ask that you complete a Revelian, psychometric test, which again gives us confidence in selecting someone that really fits the TOGA team and ultimately that we are the right fit for you. The second round is then an interview with our Head of Construction and another TOGA Construction team member.

Once completed, we would offer the role to you pending at least one satisfactory reference, depending on previous work experience.

We look forward to welcoming you to our family!!

Remuneration & Career Growth

TOGA offers competitive market rate salaries, commsumerate to experience. If you stay within TOGA, your salary is reviewed annually based on performance and growth in role and you are eligible to receive an annual short-term incentive bonus which again is based on individual and business performance.

Our Construction team has the highest rate of promotions than the rest of our business, due to the level of exposure that our team members receive and the structure of development in the teams. Every Cadet that has joined TOGA has been promoted through ranks; one is already a Project Manager, whilst others have moved into our Development team to gain experience outside of Construction. A Cadet at TOGA is a great foundation for almost every role that TOGA employs. The opportunities are endless.
