The trainers are always by your side, and they imbibe in you all of the things that you’d been sorely missing - the TW goodies - pair programming, test-driven development, feedback culture - the whole nine yards.
One of the current projects that I am working on is an analysis of the effectiveness and value of Loyalty rewards offers that Mastercard provides and comparing that to other rewards programs that are in the market.
I work with the Law Design and Practice (LDP) financial advisor group. My role requires delivering financial resource management activities to enable the delivery of organisational priorities.
The diversity of the cohort is what I’ve loved most. People come from a variety of backgrounds and having that exchange of ideas in class has been very beneficial.
The idea of working for a company that produces life-saving devices in healthcare and leading-edge technology in power and renewables, versus working for a company that sells non-material products or a company that services only one market, made it an easy choice for me in the end.
This also gives me the opportunity to catch-up with them and learn more about the process behind certain business activities, it’s important to understand what goes into the numbers so that we can provide more meaningful reporting and analysis.
