Melissa Joseph graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Accounting from La Trobe University and is now a Graduate Accountant at Fordham Business Advisers.
I love knowing that my work and the work of the agency is directly benefitting a cause I am passionate about. The people are also really great at the agency.
My proudest achievement is having the opportunity to raise the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags for the NAIDOC celebrations outside Treasury Place. It felt so empowering and really made me feel connected with other VPS employees who identify with me.
I love the variety it’s the spice of life therefore I’m always more than happy to go to new locations and learn more interesting facts about that area.
The most enjoyable thing about my job is solving a big question. Occasionally I will come across a customer who has a particularly tricky situation or who has not paid for a long time for some reason.
Knowing I’m trusted within my team to manage some of these pieces of work which are critical for Woodside’s operations, highlights the confidence my team and Woodside has in my ability.
