The Addison Project was a pioneering Meanwhile Use project. Sitting vacant awaiting rezoning and development applications to be approved, TOGA saw an opportunity to give the former hotel, The Addison, a temporary new lease of life. Working with many key stakeholders, including My Foundations Youth Housing, OzHarvest, Thread Together, and Orange Sky, The Addison was transformed into a safe haven for those facing the most challenging of circumstances.
During the five years of operation, The Addison Project provided thousands of the most vulnerable the basic necessities, care and dignity they needed to support them through the toughest times.
