Cultural & Linguistic Diversity at Ramsay Health Care

We strive to create an inclusive workplace that respects and promotes the diversity of our employees and the communities we serve.

At Ramsay, we know that everyone is integral to our success. By working together and supporting each other, we can create a caring, safe and inclusive culture, where everyone has an opportunity to contribute and make a difference.

Across our businesses both globally and in Australia, we see great diversity of people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. The diversity seen across Ramsay’s workforce provides fresh insights, new perspectives and good ideas.

We celebrate the diverse backgrounds and rich experience our people bring to the roles, and we encourage them to be their ‘real self’ at work. For example, we do not see age as an impediment but appreciate the experience our people bring to the team. In 2021, 38% of new Ramsay employees were aged under 30 and the number of new employees aged over 50 saw a solid increase to 14%.

We encourage applications from qualified candidates regardless of their gender identity, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, ability, intersex status or age. Harnessing these differences creates a productive environment in which everybody feels valued, talent can be fully utilised and organisational goals met.
